Job Description
Do you want to actively contribute to our Production Center Italy? Join the team and become Procurement Italy Manager. Your Mission The Procurement Italy Manager will be based in Italy and will report to the Production Center Director, within the Production Center Italy Organization. She/He will be responsible for the Procurement Team across all Italian sites. The Procurement Manager oversees the operational coordination and harmonization of actions among plant procurement specialists, working within a dynamic transversal team focusing on inventory, warranty, and intercompany activities. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Measure and monitor weekly the performance of the team and suppliers (OTD/forecasting/vendor management/KPI). Control and monitor daily the processing of purchase requests. Contribute to defining the annual improvement plan and report progress monthly, ensuring the implementation of the plan. Support the Lead Time reduction plan to meet commercial targets. Assist the local team to achieve departmental objectives. Lead the achievement of OTIF (On Time In Full) material delivery for each equipment. Harmonize tools and link Project Planning and Production Scheduling. Collaborate closely with Supplier Planning and Demand Planning to manage capacity and forecast. Establish standard processes to promote best practices across sites. Your Profile Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement or Production areas. Experience in performance development within an international manufacturing environment. Technical educational background. Fluency in Italian; French proficiency is a plus.
