TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Roanoke, Virginia, 24014! Pay Information $2,197 per week About The Position Whole House Resource Pool RN (ICU/PCU/MS) Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (06:45 - 19:15) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience from a large facility License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Travelers must be comfortable working in all ICU, PCU, and Med-Surg units. Experience using Epic as an RN is required. Patient ratios: ICU 2:1, PCU 5:1, Med-Surg 1:6/7. Description: This position involves working as a Resource Pool RN across multiple units. An ASAP start is preferred for this 13-week assignment. Travelers will work three 12-hour days each week from 06:45 to 19:15. The staffing office reviews the needs of the entire facility every four hours. Resource Pool nurses may be pulled or floated to another unit based on needs. Candidates must confirm their willingness to work across all three specialties. Experience with patient ratios of at least 1:5 is necessary. Travelers are required to work at least one holiday during the assignment. During winter holidays, travelers are required to work two holidays. All requests for time off must be submitted in advance. Travelers must be comfortable without CNA support. Preference may be given to those with previous charge experience in ICU. Applicants should be capable of managing various clinical tasks, including the care of ventilated patients and the administration of emergency medications. Travelers will be expected to float to all relevant units based on the needs of the facility.
