TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Roanoke, Virginia, 24014! Pay Information $2,197 per week About The Position Job Title: Resource Pool Registered Nurse (ICU/PCU) Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years in large hospital License: Active registered nurse license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Epic experience required - Comfortable working in all ICU and PCU units Description: Resource Pool Registered Nurse in ICU/PCU position available. Start preferred as soon as possible. Three 12-hour night shifts are available from 18:45 to 07:15. Candidates with 2 years of experience in a large hospital are preferred. Nurses may be pulled or floated to any ICU or PCU unit up to every 4 hours. Patient ratios are 2:1 in ICU and 5:1 in PCU. All requests for time off must be submitted upfront. Contracts are accepted for duration of 13-52 weeks. Travelers must work at least one holiday during the 13-week assignment, with additional holiday requirements during winter holidays. Interdisciplinary support available includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy. Skills required include arterial line management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care, and management of dysrhythmias. Travelers must complete compliance documentation prior to starting. Travelers who reside within 100 miles of the facility are considered local. Candidates should have previous charge experience preferred. Experience with patient ratios and the Epic charting system is necessary. Submittal of time off requests upfront is required. Modules may be completed pre-start or during orientation, with hours varying based on specialty.
