Job Description Job Description Summary: We are currently representing a commercial general contractor seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on retail-focused projects. This position is well-suited for individuals who thrive in active jobsite environments, take ownership of project delivery, and bring a consistent focus on quality, safety, and scheduling. Responsibilities: Manage daily on-site operations and subcontractor coordination Review and enforce project plans, specifications, and schedules Maintain up-to-date safety documentation and lead on-site safety efforts Conduct and coordinate project inspections with local authorities Track and document daily field activity through reports and logs Assist with field change orders, budget tracking, and issue resolution Oversee project closeout, including punch list completion and quality control Coordinate delivery and installation of owner-furnished materials and equipment Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction Prior experience with retail, ground-up, or tenant improvement projects preferred Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP documentation Proven ability to lead safe and productive jobsites Willingness to work night or swing shifts depending on project needs Ability to travel between job sites across AZ, CA, and NV Comfortable working in outdoor environments and navigating uneven terrain Ability to operate standard jobsite equipment including lifts and ladders Qualifications: Strong leadership and field coordination skills Effective communicator with a team-first mindset Technically proficient with field reporting and documentation software Detail-oriented and capable of managing fast-paced site logistics Adaptable and solution-focused in dynamic field conditions Compensation Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Vehicle allowance and fuel card Company-provided laptop and phone Health, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) plan with matching Paid vacation and sick leave
