Pay Information $2,272 per week About The Position Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience in triaging patients, strong communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment Description: Provides direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting. Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, and responsibility indicative of professional expectations with minimal supervision. Able to triage safely, rapidly, and accurately on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow. Communicates effectively with physicians and advanced practice providers about changes in patient status, symptomology, and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Works cooperatively with patients, families, physicians, advanced practice providers, allied health staff, and healthcare professionals. Provides direction to emergency department techs, registration staff, and allied health staff. Receives direction from department leaders, providers, and nursing executives.
