Job Description

Overview Location: Sesto Fiorentino/ Firenze We are looking for an experienced Import Export & Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations, warehousing, and distribution of the goods. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service excellence — from procurement through to final delivery. The ideal candidate will also lead strategic initiatives focused on digital transformation, process optimization, and organizational development within the Supply Chain function. Responsibilities Coordinate international import and export operations in compliance with global, EU, and national regulations. Manage customs documentation Liaise with freight forwarders, customs authorities, and consultants to ensure correct product classification, origin declarations, and payment of duties and VAT. Stay updated on customs regulations and international trade agreements Design and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the company’s goals to enhance performance and reduce costs. Lead cross-functional projects with a focus on process innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement. Plan, manage, and monitor Supply Chain projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards. Identify and implement opportunities for automation and digitalization in collaboration with IT and relevant stakeholders. Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against service level, efficiency, and cost targets. Supervise inventory management, stock allocation, and replenishment processes to support optimal product availability across international retail locations. Lead tendering processes and negotiate contracts to secure best-in-class supply agreements. Foster alignment and communication across departments to ensure operational plans support broader company objectives. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership on supply chain performance, risks, and improvement opportunities. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations in all supply chain activities. Profile Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain roles with proven exposure to Project Management (PMP or equivalent certification is a plus). Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects across multiple stakeholders. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Economics, Statistics, or related fields; a specialization in Supply Chain or Logistics is preferred. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. Strategic thinker with a hands-on attitude and the ability to lead change. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project Management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana), and ERP systems. Fluent in English (both spoken and written) J-18808-Ljbffr
