Job Description Job Description Pride Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Tacoma, WA 98405. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Job Details: Participated in providing patient care at the appropriate skill level under the supervision of a provider or physician. Delivered a standard of care that met or exceeded the expectations of a competent and knowledgeable Medical Assistant. Organized and maintained the clinical environment to support efficient patient care. Assisted physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff with examinations, treatments, and procedures. Identified patient needs or problems and effectively communicated findings to providers or clinical team members. Provided quality customer service while maintaining patient comfort and satisfaction. Ensured compliance with policies, procedures, infection control protocols, and patient privacy/confidentiality standards. Completed all mandatory training requirements. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, Certificate from a California State accredited school BLS Certification Basic computer literacy required, with intermediate Excel skills Knowledge of medical terminology required Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies is required Good communication and customer service skills required’ Additional Information: Location: 1812 South J St., Tacoma, WA 98404 Job Type: Contract to Hire Schedule: M-Friday, no weekends 7 AM - 5:30 PM availability based on office needs Pay Range: $20 - $29 *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
