Electrician

The Shore Group are recruiting on behalf of a growing manufacturing business based in West Sussex. Our client specialises in the production of bespoke, made-to-measure materials including acrylic sheets, timber panels, and decorative finishes. Operating from a modern production facility, they use advanced cutting and fabrication machinery to deliver high-quality, precision-engineered products across the UK. As they continue to grow, they are looking to appoint a full-time Electrician to join their on-site team and support both maintenance and machinery operations. Role Overview This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Electrician to work in a modern warehouse environment, supporting both electrical systems and gaining hands-on training in mechanical repairs. You'll play a key part in keeping production lines running efficiently and ensuring electrical safety across the facility. Key Responsibilities * Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on all electrical systems within the warehouse and production facility. * Diagnose and repair electrical faults in lighting, control panels, and distribution boards. * Learn to maintain and repair CNC machinery and other manufacturing equipment (full training provided). * Respond to breakdowns and minimise downtime through quick and effective solutions. * Carry out PAT testing and ensure compliance with current regulations. * Support general facilities maintenance and assist the wider production/engineering team. What We’re Looking For * NVQ Level 3 qualified Electrician with 18th Edition certification (or equivalent). * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. * A proactive attitude with the willingness to develop mechanical knowledge. * Good communication skills and ability to work independently. * Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on production environment
