Test Technician (Junior)

We are seeking a Junior Test Technician to join our team and work full-time and on-site in Sant Cugat del Vallès with a leading multinational client in the printing industry. Candidates without professional experience are welcome to apply. Salary: €19,000 gross per year Role Responsibilities: Support the Test Engineer in carrying out all testing and debugging activities related to printers and printing components. Perform hands-on assembly and disassembly of printers, printheads, and related testing equipment, ensuring activities follow established work instructions, test procedures, and schedules. Review and clarify test requirements for new printing devices, features, and consumables. Execute test cases covering hardware, firmware, and software elements of printing systems. Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential improvements and refine test procedures when necessary. Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and accurately report defects in collaboration with engineering teams. Record, document, and communicate test results to ensure product reliability and compliance with quality standards. Requirements: Diploma or equivalent qualification in a technical field (Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or related studies). Previous experience in software, device, or prototype testing is a plus but not mandatory. Strong interest in prototype and software testing, with the motivation to develop a career in this area.
