Job Description ESS Technical Solution Engineer is the combination of application engineer and sales engineer. A technical solution engineer should support and service the customer by demonstrating the product function, technical benefits and value to help customer meet their company and business goals and help company to win projects. With strong communication and interpersonal skills, work closely with clients, understand their specific needs, and leverage the company’s products or services to provide tailored solutions. Gather feedback from clients and bridge the gap between internal development team and customer requirements, helping to refine products and services based on customer needs and experiences. Responsibilities: Product Demonstration: Explain complex technical concepts to clients, contribute to sales presentations, and demonstrate product benefits and completed applications. Client Engagement: Interact with clients to understand needs and requirements, analyze projects, and identify opportunities where solutions add value. Solution Development: Develop tailored solutions, collaborate with technical teams, provide technical support, and relay information to development teams for updates. Proposal Creation: Create detailed proposals outlining the proposed solution and business value; prepare required documents (specifications, user manuals, disposal proposals, etc.). Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support, address questions, and resolve issues. Technical Agreement Negotiations: Negotiate technical aspects, clarify expectations, and align on final technical agreement. Risk Assessment and Problem Solving: Identify issues, provide preventative solutions, and resolve technical issues during manufacturing, delivery and commissioning; cooperate with internal teams as needed. Market Research: Stay informed about market trends and competitor offerings; generate ideas for product and service improvements based on feedback. Requirements and Skills: At least 2 years of experience in local ESS market or related field. Experience as an AE or SE in ESS market is advantageous. Knowledge of local ESS project development requirements is advantageous. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills; excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams. Strong logical and strategic thinking abilities.
