Logistics Leader

Overview Logistics Leader position based in Poços de Caldas, Minas Gerais. Reports to the Logistics Supervisor. Responsible for ensuring that the operational activities of fractionation, separation, and loading are carried out according to established procedures, providing the necessary resources and/or acting as a liaison between the service provider and the Company. Responsibilities Ensure the separation and preparation of products for loading. Monitor the transportation of products from production to the storage location. Organize, stack, and/or arrange products in the storage area, and manage the shipment of products from the storage location to the transported vehicles. Provide the necessary resources (equipment, supplies, etc.) to the fractionation, separation, and shipping teams to meet safety, productivity, and quality requirements. Ensure that the cargo loaded into vehicles complies with the packing lists to allow the vehicle to leave. Work directly in the administration of the service provider, analyzing the fractionation, separation, and loading activities, evaluating the services provided (OEE, productivity, etc.), and requesting improvements when necessary. Ensure the correct transfer of products from production to finished goods inventory, ensuring compliance with established procedures. Analyze any nonconformities found, provide appropriate disposition, and work on the root cause to eliminate them. Coordinate with internal customers (production) to ensure a smooth flow in the raw material supply process for production, avoiding product backlogs in logistics and disruption in the factory's production process. Work with external customers to ensure the entire fractionation and separation process meets product quality, technical specifications, and delivery time requirements. Handle employee requests, adjust working hours, and manage daily attendance. Perform daily checks on transfers and non-conformities. Measure operator performance and logistics machine productivity, and seek to improve production processes focused on quality and increased productivity. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. At least 3 years' experience in logistics and transportation distribution preferred. People management experience. Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office Suite. SAP system knowledge preferred. Basic English and Spanish preferred. BI system knowledge preferred. S&OP knowledge. Knowledge of raw material distribution and supply and process control. Knowledge of products and packaging, inventory sizing, and forklift/pallet truck operation.
