Job Summary Technical Sales Specialist, Geophysicist at Seequent will enhance our customer service program by providing exceptional support throughout all stages of customer interaction, from pre-purchase evaluations to assisting experienced users. This includes Oasis Montaj, Res2Dinv/Res3Dinv, Workbench and SPIA. The specialist will provide technical support, training, and project assistance, ensuring customers maximize the value of Seequent\'s solutions. Additionally, the specialist will act as a regional technical advocate, providing feedback to software development teams and supporting the local sales team with product demonstrations and implementation plans. Success in this role is measured by meeting revenue targets, receiving positive customer feedback, resolving technical issues effectively, and ensuring high user uptake of product upgrades. The specialist will also contribute to marketing activities, support product upgrades, and maintain a deep understanding of Seequent products and their applications. Duties and responsibilities Provide Technical Support: Offer well-rounded technical support for Seequent solutions and partner products. Project Assistance: Assist customers during both trial and post-purchase phases to maximize the value of Seequent solutions. User Interactions: Conduct user interactions through face-to-face conversations, telephone, and email, ensuring successful resolution of issues. Proactive Customer Contact: Proactively contact users to complete health checks and identify additional support, training, or sales opportunities. Technical Advocacy: Act as the regional technical advocate for Seequent’s Geophysics portfolio across all market sectors. Sales Support: Support the local sales team with product demonstrations, understanding customer needs, and developing implementation plans. Identify Opportunities: Identify new influencers and decision-makers within customer organizations. Feedback to Development: Provide feedback to software development teams to enhance product functionality. Training Delivery: Deliver training to new customers and integrate Seequent solutions into their workflows. Mentorship: Mentor the technical customer solutions team to build confidence in training situations. Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the local marketing specialist to represent data management solutions in regional marketing activities. Customer Satisfaction Monitoring: Actively monitor customer satisfaction levels and work to improve outcomes. Support Product Upgrades: Assist and support all product upgrades, new releases, and new products. Qualifications Degree in Geophysics. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in geophysics and related disciplines. Experience and/or operational skills in geoscience software solutions, ideally including Seequent’s software (Oasis Montaj, Res2Dinv/Res3Dinv, Workbench or SPIA). Confident oral and written communication skills in English and Fluent Portuguese or Spanish; Understanding of how cultural differences influence business relations. Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and build sustainable working relationships. Proven team player with conflict management skills. Ability to work well independently, manage workload effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. Working conditions The Technical Sales Specialist position at Seequent follows an office-based work schedule, requiring the employee to work in the office from Tuesday to Thursday during standard office hours. The remaining days of the week can be worked remotely, providing flexibility while ensuring consistent in-person collaboration and support during the core mid-weekdays.
