Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering (Electrical, Automation, Industrial) or Computer Science. This foundation ensures technical credibility and understanding of industrial processes. A strong engineering background is valuable for manufacturing and technology integration in oil and gas operations. Preferred Education: Advanced degrees are advantageous. An MBA or a Master’s in Engineering/Technology Management can provide strategic business insight. A Master’s in Data Science or Industrial Engineering could be a plus for deeper analytics expertise. Digital Transformation Projects: Proven track record of leading digital initiatives in an industrial setting, including defining roadmaps and implementing technologies such as automation systems, IoT sensor deployments, data analytics platforms, or MES on the shop floor. Familiarity with ERP and MES integration, manufacturing data platforms, and industrial cybersecurity standards. Competence in data-driven decision-making using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms. Excellent communication skills in English. Soft Skills Strategic Thinking: Ability to align digital initiatives with business objectives and prioritize projects to maximize value.
