Job Description
Position Summary The Howard University School of Business invites applications for Tenure-Track Positions in Finance at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The positions will be available Fall 2025. Candidates should have a doctoral degree from an AACSB-accredited institution by Fall 2025 and be prepared to teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels, advise and mentor students, and contribute to an innovative curriculum. Preference will be given to candidates who are Scholarly Academic and who have discipline-related work experience, with demonstrated ability to publish in high-quality journals. The Department welcomes applicants with research and teaching interests across finance and real estate. Qualifications Ph.D. from an AACSB-accredited business school with a record of scholarly and professional achievement in finance; the doctorate must be earned before the start date. Ability to conduct high-quality research leading to publications in recognized academic journals, collaborate on research projects, and attract external research funding. Demonstrated excellence and innovation in teaching. Service including faculty committees and student advising. Interest or experience in researching and teaching in various areas of finance and real estate. Preference will be given to candidates who are qualified as Scholarly Academic under AACSB standards and who have discipline-related work experience.
