About The Role We are seeking a Head of Product to take ownership of the ParcelHero product suite, including our flagship price comparison service and the new ParcelHero Pro platform. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, sitting at the intersection of commercial strategy and technology execution. You will define the product vision, shape the roadmap, and represent product in engineering meetings to ensure alignment between business goals and technical delivery. The ideal candidate has a background in sales/marketing but also possesses a deep understanding of software development and engineering processes, enabling them to collaborate effectively with tech teams. Responsibilities Product Strategy & Vision: Define and own the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligned with company goals and market opportunities Cross-functional Leadership: Act as the bridge between sales, marketing, engineering, and customer support, ensuring product decisions balance commercial and technical needs Engineering Collaboration: Represent product in engineering meetings, working closely with developers to prioritise features, resolve trade-offs, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery Market & Customer Insight: Conduct customer research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, shape features, and drive adoption Go-to-Market Partnership: Work with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product launches, positioning, and sales enablement Data-Driven Decision Making: Define KPIs, analyse usage and adoption metrics, and continuously optimise the product based on insights Team Building: Build and lead a high-performing product team as the function scales What We’re Looking For Fluent English: You should be fluent in both written and spoken English Experience: 5 years in product management/ownership, ideally within SaaS, eCommerce, logistics, or marketplaces Technical Fluency: Strong experience working closely with engineering teams; ability to understand software architecture, APIs, and development workflows Commercial Acumen: Background in sales/marketing, with proven ability to align product strategy with revenue growth and customer needs Leadership: Ability to influence, inspire, and build consensus across technical and non-technical stakeholders Execution: Proven track record of delivering complex digital products from concept through to launch and growth Analytical & Strategic: Data-driven mindset with the ability to zoom out on vision while drilling down into detail Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to represent product both internally and externally Familiarity with agile development, product discovery, and roadmap prioritisation frameworks Previous leadership of a product team in a scaling SaaS company Benefits Fully remote role with flexible working Competitive compensation and bonus potential 15 days Paid holidays Regular team events and inclusive culture Other info As this is a remote role, you will need to provide your own IT equipment This is a permanent contractor role, you are responsible for your own tax UK working hours GMT /- 3 hours (So you can start 3 hours before or after 9am GMT) Seniority level Seniority level Not Applicable Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Product Management and Marketing Industries Truck Transportation Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Parcelhero by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Head of Product” roles.
