Spare Parts Management

Position Summary: The Spare Parts Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing the inventory, procurement, and distribution of spare parts to support efficient maintenance and production operations. This role ensures the availability of critical components, minimizes equipment downtime, and maintains compliance with internal procedures and external regulations. Key Responsibilities: Inventory & Procurement Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels of spare parts Coordinate procurement activities with suppliers and vendors Ensure timely delivery and availability of parts for maintenance and production needs Classify and label parts accurately for easy identification and retrieval Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and part usage Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and external regulatory requirements Prepare reports on inventory status, consumption trends, and cost analysis Maintenance Support Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to forecast spare parts requirements Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities by ensuring part readiness Identify obsolete or slow-moving items and recommend disposal or reallocation System & Process Optimization Utilize ERP or inventory management systems to track and manage parts Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline spare parts handling Support audits and contribute to process standardization across sites Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field 2 years of experience in spare parts or inventory management in a manufacturing environment Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel Strong organizational and analytical skills Bilingual (English/Spanish); Mandarin is a plus Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities Foxconn provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
