Family Solicitor – Maternity Cover (6 months) Location: Hampshire | Start: 1st November A well-established family law team in Hampshire is seeking a solicitor to cover maternity leave for six months. The role involves a broad range of private family work, including matrimonial matters, children, and injunctions. There is the potential for hybrid working after some time. The team is ideally seeking someone full-time but is open to candidates interested in a four-day week. Competitive hourly rates are offered. Responsibilities • Provide matrimonial advice and representation, including separation, divorce, and financial matters • Advise and represent clients in children matters, including contact issues, child maintenance, and relocation • Advise and represent clients in injunction proceedings • Manage fixed fee services, including Change of Name Deeds and initial consultations for divorce, finances, and children matters • Work with the case management system Partner for Windows • Manage own caseload with secretarial support Requirements • Experience handling a range of family matters, including children and financial proceedings • Strong client focus with excellent communication and organisational skills This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, collaborative team of family solicitors.
