Senior in-house Commercial Lawyer - 6 months from Sep/Oct

Experienced commercial lawyer - FTC/day rate to suit c months, 4 or 5 days - lawyers MUST already be based in the North As a result of upcoming key projects, this Yorkshire-based household name organisation seeks an additional experienced commercial contracts lawyer to join the team on an interim basis. Typical matters covered by the team include: Supplier relationships - provision of legal advice on regulatory, consumer etc. matters Assisting on the risk management framework from initial instruction through to playbook and templates to contract approval/signature. Working cross-function on key commercial supply arrangements and strategic and compliance projects (including GDPR, product initiatives and critical IT projects). Updating key stakeholders on the implications of governance requirements and operating environment changes (including data protection, modern slavery etc). Only those with UK experience will be considered, and suitable lawyers must already be based in the North.
