Insurance & Reinsurance Litigation Lawyer

LAW Absolute has partnered with a Global Law firm in their search for a highly experienced lawyer with insurance disputes experience to join their Band 1 ranked Insurance and Reinsurance disputes team on a 12-month fixed term contract starting asap. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in insurance and reinsurance litigation and dispute resolution acting for a broad range of UK and international insurers, reinsurers and intermediaries. Experience within the financial services, professional indemnity, product liability and legacy will be particularly valuable. You will be comfortable advising and representing clients across all stages of disputes in both the Courts and before arbitration panels, although the latter will be to a lesser extent. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside market-leading practitioners recognised at the highest levels of the legal profession with unrivalled recognition in the field of insurance and reinsurance disputes. Requirements: Due to the nature of the role and responsibilities involved you will be a qualified lawyer with at least 5 years’ PQE. You will have a strong background in insurance and reinsurance litigation. Experience in other forms of dispute resolution. Proven ability to manage disputes at all stages. Familiarity with FS, professional indemnity, legacy market issues is advantageous. Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide.
