Job Description Job Description Position Title: Floor Tech Reports To: Floor Tech Supervisor/ Senior Night Area Manager Basic Work Shift: 05:00pm – 2:00am Availability: Occasionally Weekends and Before 5:00p Summary Responsibilities: It is the responsibility of the Floor Tech to ensure that to the satisfaction of our customers, in compliance with contractual obligations and in compliance with CCS Facility Services. policies and procedures. · Clean driving record. · At least 1 year experience ·MUST be Bilingual- English/ Spanish Specific Responsibilities: 1. Safety: The Floor Tech will be responsible for ensuring that all his/her Floor Techs follow the necessary PPE and safety procedures at every job site and that at any time feels that his/her staff could possibly get injured or they are unable to complete the job 100% due to faulty equipment or site related that he/she must immediately call his Supervisor right away. 2. Floor and Carpet Quality Control: The Floor Tech is responsible for the quality of our carpet and/or floor service. All activities performed by the Floor Tech should be done in the interest of improving the level of the floor and/or carpet quality. Documentation of labor performance for each job performed on the work ticket is required. If and when discrepancies are discovered, the necessary communication is to be implemented immediately to the Supervisor and Manager. 3. Work Ticket Management: The Floor Tech is responsible for forwarding of all photos to Supervisor/ Manager. This will confirm the work has been completed. Work Ticket Processing has a direct impact on CCS customer Service. 4. Training: It is the Floor Tech responsibility to develop effective on the job and continual training. 5. Security of the Buildings: The floor tech is responsible to secure and arm building when work is completed. 6. Coverage: In the event we have a high call out in attendance, the Floor Tech will help cover assigned building at no reduction in wage rate. Physical Demands: Job requires driving, walking, and standing most of the shift while making completing the duties of the job. Bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching are required. Must lift to fifty pounds.
