Job Overview Our client is seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 ton Driver to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various sites across the UK. Note: This does include deliveries in to London Responsibilities Drive a 7.5 ton vehicle to deliver goods to various locations as scheduled. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, maintaining the integrity of the products during transit. Strapping loads with ratchet straps Delivery of cages. Some handball may be involved but minimal. Conduct inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order. (Reporting defects and issues to the transport office) Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork / use handheld scanner as required. Qualifications Valid UK driving licence with appropriate 7.5 ton entitlement. Previous experience as a van driver or delivery driver is preferred. Ability to communicate clearly with team members and customers alike. A good understanding of commercial driving regulations and practices is required. Must be physically fit to handle loading/unloading tasks as needed within a warehouse environment.
