Operational Controller

Expertise in ERP systems (SAP & Oracle), cost control, business restructuring, and P&L optimization. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, integrate financial and operational data for strategic decision-making, and maintain full compliance with US GAAP/MX GAAP Main Tasks - Responsible for all related to cost accounting area, it includes control and valuation of inventory through ERP system (standard cost), Cost roll up, Physical inventories, analysis of purchase price variance, production variance, and scrap. Financial analysis related to cost of sales, sales, gross margin and expenses - Month-end closing responsibilities to include accuracy of sales and cost of sales, preparing various sales and gross profit schedules, prepare and record appropriate journal entries, determine overhead absorption, monthly financial closing for manufacturing operation - Structure the Costing Master Data info in SAP for BOM‘s, Routings and Material Master according to CAPPACK - Establish cost controls, standardization, and automatization of reporting models for 3 Business Units and alignment of Standard Costs with Production Lines and Costing Buckets. - Carrying out target/actual comparisons, variance analyses and ad hoc evaluations - Coordination and preparation of budgets, short-term forecasts, including headcount and liquidity planning, investment and project budgets - Monitoring and continuous development of production controlling for our production sites Your profile - You have a degree in business administration, industrial engineering or business informatics with a focus on finance, cost accounting or corporate management. - During your several years of professional experience in cost accounting, you have deepened your expertise in the manufacturing industry, worked at group level and learned to act in an analytical, solution-oriented and implementation-oriented manner. - In addition to a good technical understanding and negotiating skills in English, you also have knowledge of working with SAP ERP systems and have gained initial experience in working with consolidation software. Professional experience: At least 5 years as a Group Controller in an international production company with in-depth knowledge of production cost accounting Further knowledge: English, IT skills: MS Office, especially Excel, SAP ERP, consolidation software / reporting tools/BI
