Facilities Manager

You will be responsible for managing subcontractors across waste management, security, utilities, ground maintenance, winter services, and temporary works (e.g., scaffolding). You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain high standards, meet regulatory requirements, and drive sustainability initiatives. What you’ll do: Lead day-to-day facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades. Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry standards. Manage subcontractors across waste, security, utilities, and temporary works. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for facility-related expenses. Conduct regular inspections and ensure effective use of space and resources. Drive sustainability initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Maintain accurate records of compliance, maintenance, and operational activities. Partner with stakeholders to support smooth business operations. What we’re looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience in facilities management, ideally with subcontractor oversight. Accredited Temporary Works Coordinator training. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Knowledge of health & safety regulations and industry best practices. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in facility management systems and tools.
