Transport Manager - Dual Site

Loom Talent are delighted to be supporting with the appointment of a Transport Manager - Dual Site, covering locations in Heathrow and Essex. Our client is a well-known distributor of FMCG with a vast network across the UK. You will work a day shift, Monday to Friday and will spread your time across the two sites. As Transport Manager - Dual Site, you will be supporting the operational activities of a busy team with responsibilities across people management, compliance, and H&S. Ensuring all drivers are carrying out their duties in a safe and timely manner and in line with company policies Daily people management duties such as recruitment, training, rotas, holidays, and sickness Vehicle and route planning Ensuring that the team delivers the highest levels of customer service Correct reporting of incidents, accidents and vehicles defects Ongoing support to the senior management team with continuous improvement and operational efficiencies Candidates wishing to be considered should meet the following requirements: Knowledge and understanding of transport and vehicle compliance - Essential Previous experience managing drivers - Essential Ability to travel between Heathrow and Essex locations - Essential A committed and positive approach to work - Essential Upon your appointment to the role of Transport Manager - Dual Site, you will receive competitive salary in the region of £40,000 Company Vehicle and Bonus.
