Job Title: Learning Mentor Location: England, Greater London, Merton Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £100 - £110 Per day Benefits: PAYE Job Duties: Provide academic and emotional support to students Assist students in developing study skills and habits Monitor and track student progress Work with teachers to identify and address learning difficulties Organise and facilitate mentoring sessions Required Qualifications: GCSEs or equivalent qualifications Experience working with students in an educational setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of educational best practises Ability to build rapport with students Effective problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: Higher education qualifications in education or related field Experience working as a mentor or tutor Working Conditions: This role involves working in an educational environment, primarily during school hours.
