Transition Manager

Job Location

Job Description

Service Transition Manager Madrid (Hybrid, 2 days onsite) 6 Month FTC If you’ve done Service Transition before, you’ll know it’s rarely neat and tidy. Stuff breaks, people resist change, and half the time you’re the one stuck in the middle trying to keep everything on track! That’s why this role exists. Our client are an IT consultancy operating on a global scale who need someone who can take ownership of end-to-end IT service transitions, making sure new or changed services move into BAU without everything falling over. They want seamless integration, minimal disruption, and ideally a few less headaches for everyone involved. You’ll be the person planning, managing, and coordinating these transitions - making sure all the release policies are in place, the artefacts are produced, the service catalogue is updated, and that cross-functional teams all know what’s expected of them. In short: you’ll be the one holding it all together. You’ll also be the type who can deal with stakeholders without losing your patience. Internal, external, senior, technical, non-technical – you’ll need to get them on side, keep them informed, and occasionally push back when needed. What you’ll need Previous experience in a similar service transition management role (within a complex organisation, ideally global). Decent knowledge of ITIL (certs are nice, but the ability to apply it in the real world matters more). Highly organised and able to build relationships with different departments Communication skills that work with everyone from engineers to execs. If this sounds like the kind of challenge you’d actually enjoy, apply with your CV. If you have any questions please contact Adam on 44 7425 559 243.
