Job Description

Position Description Leading Culligan’s manufacturing operations in Brazil, ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality production of assembled products. This role oversees and integrates the areas of Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), and Quality, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement while aligning with Culligan’s business goals and customer expectations. Responsibilities Strategy, Execution & Operational Management Ensure the plant delivers on safety, quality, service, cost, and productivity objectives. Define and execute short- and long-term strategies to achieve operational excellence and meet business goals. Lead, coach, and develop a team of functional managers across Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, EHS, and Quality. Build a high-performance culture that promotes accountability, collaboration, and employee engagement. Oversee daily production activities, ensuring compliance with product specifications, efficiency targets, and customer requirements. Drive innovation and process improvements in assembly operations through engineering initiatives and best practices. Ensure the effective execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and extend asset life. Collaborate closely with the Sales organization to ensure effective SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) processes. Align supply and demand plans, monitor inventory levels, and ensure on-time delivery to customers. Drive supply chain efficiency and cost optimization. Promote a zero-incident safety culture. Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations as well as corporate sustainability initiatives. Continuously monitor and improve workplace safety standards. Guarantee product quality by ensuring adherence to quality systems, certifications, and customer requirements. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to address deviations and ensure continuous improvement. Champion lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste, improve productivity, and optimize costs. Build and maintain constructive relationships with labor unions and employee representatives. Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements, proactively manage negotiations, and resolve labor issues to sustain a positive and productive work environment. Manage plant budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditures. Monitor performance against KPIs and implement corrective actions where needed to achieve financial targets. Partner with regional and global leadership to align plant objectives with corporate strategy. Lead initiatives that increase capacity, support business growth, and improve customer satisfaction. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or a related field 8 -10 years of experience Strong command of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. Solid understanding of Supply Chain Management and SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning). Proficiency in Quality Management Systems (ISO standards, certifications, audits, and customer requirements). Deep knowledge of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) regulations and best practices. Financial acumen: budgeting, cost control, capital investment, and KPI-driven performance management. Strong labor relations expertise, including union negotiations and collective bargaining management. Advanced skills in ERP systems (SAP or equivalent), Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools. Languages: English (advanced), Spanish (advanced)
