DENTAL PRACTICE MANAGER | PIETERMARITZBURG, KZN

A well-established dental practice in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal , is looking for a dynamic and experienced Dental Practice Manager to lead their administrative and operational functions. The ideal candidate will be an organised, proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills and proven experience managing a busy dental environment. Candidates with experience using Elixir Live practice management software will be highly preferred. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join a supportive team and help drive excellence in patient care and daily practice operations. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the dental practice Managing patient flow, appointment scheduling, and front-desk operations Ensuring exceptional patient experience and communication Supervising and supporting administrative and clinical staff Maintaining accurate patient records and billing information Managing stock and inventory, including ordering dental supplies Liaising with service providers, medical aids, and suppliers Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards Generating reports and assisting with financial and operational planning Implementing and improving practice systems and workflows Requirements: Prior experience as a Dental Practice Manager (or similar role) Proficiency in Elixir Live is advantageous Excellent communication and people management skills Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional demeanour and a patient-focused approach Salary: R15 000 – R25 000 per month (depending on experience) & Bonus share of the profits to be discussed Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 & Every alternate Saturday, 08:15 – 12:30 Interested candidates are encouraged to apply online with an updated CV and references.
