Job Description
As our Senior Security Specialist, you will have full responsibility for overseeing information security across a group of Sage products, applications, and systems. This involves working closely with Live Service Management, IT Operations, and Product Engineering teams. Your role will include identifying opportunities to enhance security practices and developing plans to implement these improvements. You'll also be responsible for continuously monitoring security measures to ensure they are effective and meet the highest standards. This will be a hybrid position, 3-days in our Madrid office. Key Responsibilities What You Will Do: You will work in integrating security into the software development lifecycle, particularly with public cloud-based SaaS applications. Strong communication and influencing skills are essential, along with proficiency in English, both spoken and written. Hands-on experience in both security operations and implementing security in development is crucial. Understanding the challenges of information security in an agile or DevOps environment is also important. Ideally, you will have experience with formal compliance frameworks like SOC, ISO27001, or PCI, and experience securing public cloud-based online products.
