The Role We are seeking a high-performing hospitality leader to serve as General Manager of our University Hill café in Boulder—with a clear, defined path to Director of Operations as Alpine Modern expands. This is not just a GM role. It is the ground floor of a multi-unit leadership career with Alpine Modern. You’ll begin by managing our Hill café with operational excellence and hospitality at the forefront. Within 18–24 months, you’ll play a central role in opening new cafés and, as we grow to three or more locations, transition into Director of Operations, overseeing all General Managers and café operations. This isn’t a starter role—it’s for a true professional who brings rigor to financial management, excellence to operations, and heart to hospitality, while also bringing the drive and ambition to grow into senior leadership.
