Cost & Management Accountant

A global leader in optical and healthcare innovation is seeking a talented Cost & Management Accountant to strengthen its finance team. In this pivotal role, you will enhance financial transparency, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic decision-making across international operations. As the Cost & Management Accountant , you will oversee the full spectrum of foreign and inter-company creditors, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and the timely processing of payments and reconciliations. Your efforts will be essential in maintaining accurate inter-company accounts, facilitating prompt foreign payments, and ensuring the correct recording of inventory and cost of sales. Additionally, you will uphold both local and international financial and tax regulations. As a Cost & Management Accountant , you will be responsible for the following: Develop and implement robust cost accounting procedures and systems. Analyse cost variances and deliver actionable management reports. Monitor operational and manufacturing costs to identify efficiency opportunities. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and performance analyses. Support month-end close processes, including inventory valuation. Conduct profitability analysis for products, services, and business units. Collaborate with supply chain and operations to align financial data with business objectives. Ensure full compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. Qualifications and Skills: BCom in Finance (or equivalent). Minimum 5 years accounting experience, preferably within a multinational or manufacturing environment. Proven expertise in foreign creditors, FX revaluations, and inter-company reconciliations. Strong knowledge of tax submissions and general ledger reconciliations. Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and adhere to financial compliance standards.
