What you will do The HSE Specialist will lead, develop, and execute H&S strategies, providing leadership and expertise on this topic. He / She will arrange, provide, maintain, and continually improve a safe H&S system of work for all employees to prevent injury and ill health and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and ISO 45001, 14001 standards. Core responsibilities: Transcribe and adopt the H&S strategy for Haier Europe Industrial Operations and for non-industrial sites (offices, warehouses, labs, etc.) Be responsible for Health & Safety and Environment pillar activities for HOPS Contribute to Health & Safety and Environment budget definition and approval, interacting with factory owners such as Facility, Maintenance, and Operations Provide technical skills on H&S matters, define, and implement safety standards for manufacturing facilities Support the implementation of the Safety, Environment, and Compliance Assessment program in accordance with the Corporation Audit Strategy Lead the implementation of Second Party EH&S audits according to EH&S Management System requirements and strategy Support execution of Third-Party audits according to EH&S Management System requirements and strategy Lead the implementation of the Ergonomics program for Haier Europe Lead EH&S Projects aiming at guaranteed compliance with laws and Corporate EHS Global standards Structure benchmarking activities Ensure EH&S standard development and implementation Develop HOPS Evolution Safety and Environment pillar agenda in accordance with HOPS Evolution Strategy Support HR processes with EH&S impact, ensuring their implementation for his/her own population Ensure team spirit, good team-working environment, conflict negotiation, individual and group communication Manage the team to plan their activities efficiently and effectively Enable cooperation among functions Provide leadership and mentorship to the team Identify and ensure appropriate training for direct reports Create a safety and environment background in factories to guarantee local support What you need to succeed Must have: Fluent English knowledge Minimum a diploma in EH&S related areas and/or some years of experience in the field Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Good knowledge of root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies Very good relationship skills Ability to work by objectives High level of autonomy Nice to have: Qualified to provide training ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 14064 standards knowledge and Auditor qualification Willing to travel for audits and other activities outside borders Haier Europe is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
