Job Title: Sales Outreach Intern – C&I Solar Location: Tijuana Office Company: Greenday Finance About Us Greenday Finance has nearly a decade of experience advancing clean energy across the U.S. We have supported more than 900 clean energy projects since 2016, delivering real savings to customers while creating a lasting impact on the planet. Through our C&I (Commercial & Industrial) solar projects , we partner with businesses to reduce their energy costs, support sustainability initiatives, and accelerate the transition to clean energy. In addition to community solar, we structure and finance Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) tailored to the needs of small to mid-sized businesses, enabling them to adopt solar energy without upfront costs. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Sales Outreach Intern to support our C&I solar business development efforts. This internship offers exposure to the renewable energy industry, focusing on commercial and industrial customer acquisition . The role is unpaid and designed to provide hands-on experience for students or recent graduates interested in sustainable energy, project finance, and sales development. Key Responsibilities Research and identify prospective C&I customers (e.g., manufacturing, retail, logistics, and commercial real estate firms). Assist with outbound outreach campaigns to decision-makers via email, LinkedIn, and phone. Support the sales team by qualifying leads and scheduling introductory meetings. Help prepare prospect lists, outreach materials, and client presentations. Maintain accurate records of outreach activities in CRM tools. Collaborate with the sales team on strategies to drive growth in C&I solar adoption. Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Environmental Studies, or related field. Strong communication and research skills. Interest in renewable energy, clean technology, and commercial sustainability initiatives. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Previous sales or customer engagement experience is a plus but not required. What You’ll Gain Firsthand exposure to commercial solar development and financing models (including PPAs) .
