To learn more: https://dynonavionics.com/ Job Title : Mechanical Engineering Intern (TemporaryFall or Spring) Reports to: Hardware Engineering Manager Hours of Work: Part-time to Full-time, Monday through Friday depending on business needs. Wage: $25.00-$27.00 per hour, non-exempt Location: On-site at our facility in Woodinville, Washington Position Summary : As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Dynon, you will work closely with our team of experienced engineers on a range of projects, contributing to the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components for small aircraft. If you are a motivated and driven individual looking for a hands-on learning experience in the field of mechanical engineering, we encourage you to apply. This internship will provide you with valuable industry experience and the opportunity to work on exciting projects alongside our team of experienced engineers. Interns are responsible for any costs incurred to relocate to the Woodinville area. Position Responsibilities: Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems and components. Perform testing and analysis to evaluate the performance of mechanical systems. Create detailed technical drawings and documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve engineering challenges. Participate in design reviews and provide input for continuous improvement. Experience & Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and concepts. Proficient in CAD software, such as SolidWorks. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Good oral and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Experience with mechanical testing and failure analysis is a plus. Coursework in mechanics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and materials science. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations. Must be 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States. Temporary employees are not eligible for benefits but do accrue PTO on a bi-weekly basis. Former interns are given first consideration for full-time employment upon graduation for available engineering positions.
