HEALTH & WELLNESS THERAPIST FRANSCHOEK - Cape Winelands (Western-Cape) - South Africa STARTING DATE: 01 October 2025 REPORTS to: MOD / Spa Manager EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full Time / Permanent TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS: Tuesday to Saturday 09:00 - 18:00 Sunday 09:00 - 13:00 (rotate every 2nd Sunday) CLOSED on Mondays & Select Public Holidays (management's discretion) SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS: R8,000 - R12,000 Gross per month (NEG. based on desired experience & skills) Performance incentives Targeted commission (10%) for Services & Retail MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Matric (Grade 12) / Senior National Certificate Beauty Specialist / Somatology / Health & Skin Care / Cosmetology related diploma ITEC / CIDESCO / CIBTAC / City & Guilds / SAAHSP or similar internationally accredited qualification Day Spa experience in a high end Spa or Cruise Ship Confident in all standard spa therapies (body & skin) Possess excellent guest rapport and professional demeanor Self-motivated, driven and luxury orientated Cruise Ship experience is highly favorable Premium Spa experience essential Highly knowledgeable on skin and body trends (slimming, wellness, aesthetics, etc.) EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: Confident all-rounder focusing on Skin Care, Body Care and all around Well-being Confidently prescribe alternative treatments and relevant home care Cross-refer to other departments Must be familiar with all treatment protocols and products Be responsible for ensuring that all treatments are up to our high standard of service excellence TREATMENTS Confident and skilled in any of the following services: Facials Body Therapies including Massage, Body Wrap and Body Contouring Slimming & Wellness Therapies Manicures & Pedicures with Gel Application Beautifying services including Tinting OR Henna Waxing and Hair Removal
