Job Description Job Description Salary: Hourly $30 BILINGUAL FACILITIES SUPERVISOR We are searching for an experienced Bilingual English-Spanish Facilities Supervisor to join the team in Dayton, NJ. The ideal candidate will direct and ensure that the cleanliness of the facility is maintained to standards by overseeing the custodial and sanitation team, while always maintaining safety and compliance. This great opportunity is temp to hire. Schedule: 1st Shift Monday thru Friday from 8am - 5pm. Pay: Hourly $30 Responsibilities Work closely with safety and operations teams to ensure safe operations, including ensuring compliance with all codes related to facilities including OSHA, local and state building codes, fire department regulations, etc. Work with relevant vendors, maintaining purchasing and inventory of cleaning supplies Ensure SOPs are up to date; Create new SOP for new cleaning chemical supplies as needed Encourage and promote operating in a continuous improvement environment Order and maintain cleaning supplies Train new team members, monitor, supervise housekeeping and sanitation associates for work quality, safety, etc. Conduct and document regular facilities inspections Ensure proper disposal of trash and recycling, exterior of building is clean and well maintained Closely partner and communicate proactively with site & operational stakeholders on all projects, process changes and facilities enhancements Special Projects may include but not limited to: Develop and implement an environmental plan that will reduce environmental footprint, developing and working against agreed targets and goals Develop the blanket order concept for best products whereby we receive most favored nation pricing for key material inputs and services Skills & Qualifications Must be bilingual with English/Spanish, with ability to also read & write Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in industrial environment Minimum 3 years of experience supervising staff Must have a positive attitude and be a problem-solver Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multi-task as necessary Effective leadership capabilities; able to mentor and coach team in area of responsibility and the achievement of organization goals Ability to provide oversight of compliance and regulatory requirements pertaining to the facilities Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Experience directly managing contractors and vendors required Detail-oriented, organized, display common sense, strong work ethic & reliability Prior experience with industrial space design and layout planning a plus Don't let this opportunity pass you by!
