Job Description

Title: Service Technician Location: Mexico City or Monterrey, MX Department: Field Service Reports To: Operations Manager About the Role We are looking for a Service Technician to join our team in Mexico. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting Parking and People Access Systems, delivering exceptional service to our customers, and ensuring compliance with SKIDATA standards. The Service Technician will handle both preventive and corrective maintenance, provide customer training, and support system upgrades and extensions while contributing to ongoing process improvements. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and implement Parking and People Access Systems (HW & SW) in line with SKIDATA standards. Deliver preventive and corrective maintenance for installed systems. Provide 1st & 2nd level customer support via hotline, on-site, or remote as part of on-duty operations. Conduct customer training for key users. Analyze customer needs for modernization or extensions and define optimal solutions. Support IT with the integration of third-party applications. Assist with customer care, sales of services, and spare parts. Ensure knowledge transfer and collaboration with global technical support teams. Prepare project documentation and conduct customer service feedback interviews. Contribute to process improvements within the Field Service team. Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related technical field. Experience: Minimum 2 years in technical service roles, preferably within automation, electrical systems, access control, or CCTV. Proven expertise in IT and network systems. Experience in software deployment and hotline support. Solid understanding of operational processes, service operations, and installations. Skills & Competencies Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset. Ability to manage multiple projects and customer demands effectively. Team-oriented with excellent communication skills. Self-motivated, eager to learn, and proactive in driving solutions. High resilience, capable of working under pressure in demanding environments. Strong customer orientation, integrity, and accountability. Adaptability and flexibility to changing requirements. Languages Spanish: fluent (written & spoken) English: basic understanding is a plus but not a requirement Additional Requirements Willingness to travel up to 75%. Availability for on-duty services in sectors such as Car Access, Mountain, and Events.
