Locums - Pathologist Weston, West VirginiaLicensing: Willing to license (WV Temp or IMLC-eligible) Position Overview Start Date: November 3rd, 2025 Contract Length: Ongoing Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Call: Full-time call coverage (1-2 callbacks/week, mostly Blood Bank issues) Shift Type: Full-time plus call Setting: Hospital-based Pathology EMR: Cerner / Paragon Clinical Details Facility: 70-bed hospital Level IV Trauma Center Support Staff: 2 full-time histotechs Lab system director Senior techs per department Case Types: Mostly adult, some pediatric (tonsils, appendices) Frozen sections (occasional) Cytology: urines, bronchial washes/brushes, pleural & ascitic fluids FNAs by Radiology/Oncology (thyroid FNAs go to LabCorp) IHC by LabCorp, with online image access Candidate Requirements Board Certification: Required State License: Active WV license OR eligible for WV temporary license / IMLC DEA: Required Certifications: BLS & ACLS required Experience: Minimum 1 year Additional Info Patient population is primarily adult Special stains are minimal in-house Great histology and tech support Open to locum candidates who require licensing assistance Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
