Centre Manager

Key Responsibilities People Management: Lead, train, and develop centre staff while fostering a strong corporate culture. Supervise personnel and service contractors to ensure smooth daily operations. Tenant & Lease Management: Market vacant space, manage lease renewals, and negotiate agreements within the approval framework. Ensure optimal tenant mix, trade densities, and tenant installation timelines. Maintain positive relationships with tenants and brokers while securing sustainable income streams. Property & Facilities Management: Oversee building administration, repairs, revamps, and inspections. Prepare management packs, attend meetings, and coordinate with finance for reporting. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including OHS regulations . Budgeting & Financial Control: Prepare and monitor income and expense budgets. Track actual income vs. budget, follow up on arrears, and manage vacant space strategy. Review lease conditions, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors. Requirements Minimum Grade 12 ; tertiary qualification in property management advantageous. 35 years experience in retail shopping centre/property management. Valid Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC) and compliance with PPRA requirements. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and property management systems such as MDA/SAP . Strong contract administration, budgeting, and tenant management skills.
