This critical care unit manages over 100,000 visits annually, making it one of the busiest trauma centers in the nation and the only Level I trauma hospital in the area. Key Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population with varied diagnoses. - Care primarily for medical/surgical boarder patients within the ED. - Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5, with the support of assistive personnel. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications: - Active New York State RN License. - Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience. - Experience in telemetry preferred. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. - NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
