As a key member of our healthcare team, you will deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care and assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while monitoring patient responses. - Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills in emergency situations. - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using EPIC charting system. - Float to other units as needed and perform charge duties after receiving appropriate training. Qualifications: - Required Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing. - Preferred Experience: 2 years recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing. - Licensure: Active New York RN license. - Certifications: Current NIH stroke certification and AHA BLS certification. - Additional Requirements: Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. Availability for at least one holiday per contract is mandatory.
