Job Description Job Description Job Title: Childcare Center Director Location: Wappingers Falls, NY Hours: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Compensation: $45,000 – $55,000 annually, commensurate with experience About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Center Director to lead our center in Wappingers Falls, NY. This is a full-time leadership role with responsibility for day-to-day operations, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and creating a safe, nurturing environment where children thrive. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with all licensing and safety regulations Hire, train, and supervise staff to maintain a high standard of care and professionalism Develop and implement curriculum in coordination with teaching staff Communicate regularly with families and staff to support children’s development Manage budgeting, scheduling, and administrative tasks Qualifications: Minimum of an Bachelor's Degree in education or a related field At least 2 years of experience in a childcare leadership role Strong knowledge of New York State childcare regulations Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Why Join Us?
