Job Description
Responsibilities: Dispatch Responsibilities Print pick tickets, pick orders, and assist with invoicing and booking transporters Plan trip sheets and ensure that all filing (Proof of Deliveries and records) is accurate and up to date Ensure that stock is palletised and labelled correctly to avoid damage Confirm that all orders undergo quality checks before dispatch Provide support for stock control and replenishments as needed Fleet Maintenance Assist in ensuring the fleet is maintained and kept roadworthy Route planning for internal deliveries Ensure the trip schedule is updated daily Make sure to complete the documentation while filling out the vehicle checklist Tracking of vehicles Ensure drivers have a valid licence Internal Support Provide transport support to the procurement department and other departments as needed Assist the finance team with stock-related inquiries and the sales team with delivery orders Maintain effective communication and foster strong interpersonal relationship Requirements: Matric with Mathematics and English Any degree/diploma that can reflect studies supporting administration An understanding of the logistics environment Good communication and interpersonal skills 1-3 Years of experience with MS (Excel, Word and Outlook) 1-3 Years of experience and a good understanding of the logistics environment A valid unendorsed code 8 drivers license, and own transport will be advantageous Demonstrated strong administration skills Warehouse working awareness, understanding the process and identifying/targeting opportunities would be advantageous Customer service experience Due to the high volume of applications received, only suitable candidates who meet the criteria of this vacancy will be contacted.
