Sales Representative

Purpose of the Role The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling HVAC-related services and installations to new and existing clients. The role requires strong client engagement, accurate costing, project planning, and effective execution of sales and site requirements. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business growth while delivering exceptional service standards. Key Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To Promoting and selling HVAC services and installations to construction sites, mechanical consultants, developers, and architects Managing relationships with existing clients (CRM) and building a new client database Achieving monthly sales targets and maintaining gross profit margins on projects Preparing and submitting BOQs/quotes accurately and on time Attending site meetings, managing instructions and variation orders Reading, measuring, and interpreting building plans both on-site and off-site Coordinating project resources including BOQs, materials, and team schedules Liaising with clients, engineers, suppliers, and builders Compiling and submitting O&M manuals, ensuring as-built plans align with completed scopes Staying up to date on HVAC products, services, and installation methods through supplier training Requirements: Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) Relevant trade-related qualification in Sales, Project Management, or Mechanical Engineering advantageous Minimum of 5 years proven experience in Sales or Project Management with strong HVAC knowledge (HVAC sales experience is essential) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail Own reliable vehicle and valid drivers licence Remuneration and Conditions of Employment Market-related base salary (basic only during initial contract period) Initial 3-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of permanent appointment based on performance Commission structure: 10% of gross profit, applicable from month 4 (upon permanent appointment and meeting sales targets) Company SIM card provided Business kilometres reimbursed at R3.50 per km (no additional fuel allowance)
