SKIN CARE & RETAIL ADVISOR MIDRAND, Gauteng (South Africa) START: 01 September 2025 TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS: Monday - Sunday 09:00am - 21:00pm (standard 9-hour shifts will be scheduled on rotation) RETAIL HOURS - Must be flexible to work shifts, weekends and all major holidays REPORTS TO: Store Manager / HR Manager / CEO EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full time / Permanent SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS: R8,000 - R12,000 Basic Salary per month (Based on desired qualification & skills) 5% Commission (Retail) Incentives MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: ITEC / SAAHSP or internationally recognized accreditation CIDESCO - Bonus DIPLOMA Beauty Specialist or similar Level 2 qualification / Health & Skin Care / Cosmetology / Beauty Therapy Beautifully groomed, manicured and presentable Confident and knowledgeable on advanced skin care and active ingredients / skin care trends EXPERIENCE: Retail experience is beneficial Salon / spa or cruise ship experience is required Receptionist or hosting experience (Dealing with cash up etc.) KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: Customer Assistance : Provide exceptional service to returning or repeat customers who already know what they want. Assist them in selecting products, answering any quick queries, and ensuring they have a smooth shopping experience. Till Operation : Manage the till, handle transactions accurately, as well as returns Support to Somatologist : Assist the Somatologists in preparing the store, ensuring that they have everything needed for consultations and treatments. Product Knowledge : Maintain a strong understanding of the products on offer, being able to briefly explain the benefits to customers or offer recommendations based on their preferences. Customer Relationship Management : Foster positive relationships with repeat customers by providing personalized attention and ensuring they feel valued. Store Presentation : Help keep the store neat, tidy, and well-organized by ensuring product displays are attractive and that shelves are stocked appropriately. Sales Targets : Contribute to achieving store sales goals by assisting in upselling and promoting products to returning customers. Inventory Support : Assist with stock replenishment and organization, ensuring that products are properly displayed and within easy reach of customers. Team Collaboration : Work closely with the Somatologists and the rest of the retail team to maintain a professional, customer-centric environment and to deliver excellent service.
