Group Accountant (Full-set)

Roles & Responsibilities Report to CEO Location: Central Region, Singapore Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented group accountant, specializing in the manufacturing industry, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounting process, including but not limited to financial statement preparation, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and budgeting. The accountant will ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Job Description Handle full set of accounts including preparing monthly audit schedules and ensuring timely and accurate month-end closing. Issue payments, purchase orders, and monitor cash flows and projections. Review & process employees’ expense claims. Perform monthly bank reconciliations. Handle quarterly GST submissions. Monitor & reconcile inter-company transactions. Prepare proforma invoices, tax invoices, delivery orders, and shipping documents; coordinate with sales and deployment teams to post sales orders and follow up on customer payments, including invoice submissions to customer portals. Liaise with inter-company fulfillment and finance teams regarding goods export and inventory in Singapore. Perform inventory accounting, including valuation and reconciliation, ensuring accurate tracking of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Liaise with tax agents for corporate tax filings. Responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Coordinate with external parties such as corporate secretaries, tax agents, auditors, investors, and government authorities as required. Implement controls, system improvements, and process enhancements. Perform financial consolidation for Singapore and China entities. Assist with grant applications, claims, and audits. Prepare AGM presentation data based on financial reports and company planning. Perform any other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting or ACCA/CPA qualification. Strong knowledge of IFRS. Knowledge of manufacturing processes is advantageous. Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in general and cost accounting; excellent Excel skills. Knowledge of Xero accounting software is advantageous. Possess a can-do attitude and ability to work in a dynamic startup environment. Self-starter capable of planning, organizing, and taking initiative to meet objectives and deadlines independently. Extensive hands-on experience with ERP systems; ERP implementation experience is preferred. Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Meticulous and detail-oriented in work handling. Team player with the ability to work independently. High integrity and confidentiality. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
