The successful candidate will work 12-hour shifts, with a night/day rotation offering flexibility in scheduling. This role requires a commitment to providing quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, where nurses must be prepared to float to other units as needed. Responsibilities: - Deliver patient-centered care in the Med/Telemetry unit. - Monitor vital signs and symptoms, making recommendations for changes as necessary. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Document patient care and treatment plans using EPIC electronic health records. - Participate in professional development and quality improvement initiatives. Requirements: - Experience: - Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing. - 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates. - Licensure & Certifications: - Active New York RN license. - NIH and AHA BLS certification. - Flexibility to adapt to the facility's scheduling needs, including weekends and holidays. - Ability to work charge nurse duties if requested. Preferred Experience: - 2 years recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing. Guaranteed Hours: - Option for 36 or 48 hours per week, with a requirement for 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
