Financial Accountant

Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with a rapidly growing technology organisation based in Wantage to recruit a Financial Accountant . The Financial Accountant will receive a salary of up to £50,000 along with other attractive benefits including hybrid remote working and a private medical scheme. Primary responsibilities; Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate journal entries Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax filings Perform Shipping Reconciliations Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations Monitor and improve financial controls and processes Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting Oversee Credit Control Function Oversee Purchase Ledger Function Key experience and attributes; Part Qualified Accountant Management Accounts experience Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations Analytical skills and thorough attention to detail Excellent verbal communication Persistence and determination Familiarity with ERP systems, NetSuite a preference but not essential.
