Facility in Dickinson, ND seeking Lucrative Peds Hospitalist locums coverage Rates: $1800 with 4 hour gratis. $230/hr callback after 4 hours. Position Details Schedule: 7 days per month, 24-hour call coverage. Start Date: February 2025 October 2025. Duties: Attend vaginal deliveries if requested. Attend all scheduled and emergent C-Sections. Admit/discharge newborns and pediatric patients. Perform circumcisions. Required procedures: newborn resuscitation, intubations, UVC placement, lumbar punctures. Facility Details: Setting: Critical Access Hospital with Level II Nursery. EMR System: Meditech. Support Staff: Nursing team with Level II nursery nurses. Anesthesia, OBGYNs, Respiratory Therapists. Local pediatricians available for consultation. NICU located in Bismarck (90 miles away) with consulting physicians. Patient Volume: Admissions per day: 2-3. Types of cases: Pediatric admissions and newborn care. Do not deliver patients under 36 weeks gestation if possible. Reason for Need: Temporary coverage while awaiting onboarding of a new pediatrician in October 2025. Requirements Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible Required. Licensure: Active North Dakota license Required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Required. Other: Clean background and malpractice history Required. Availability at time of name clear Required. Credentialing and Timeline Billing Enrollment: This position replaces an enrolled provider for 60 days or less.
