Family Practice - With OB Physician

Facility in Coal Center, PA seeking Family Medicine locums coverage Rates: $170/hr Position Details Specialty: Family Medicine (considering Internal Medicine candidates with Family Medicine experience and pediatric exposure). Start Date: March 3, 2025 End Date: May 2, 2025 (potential for a 6-month or longer assignment). Reason for Opening: Coverage for a candidate on leave. Schedule: Monday Thursday: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM 3:00 PM 12:00 PM 1:00 PM break (30 minutes lunch, 30 minutes paperwork). 4 5 days per week, no call responsibilities. Patient Load: Up to 18 patients per day (9 in the morning, 9 in the afternoon). Seeing patients of all ages (Adult: 89%, Pediatric: 11%). Practice Setup: Support staff and mid-level providers available. Typical cases: annual wellness visits, physicals, well-child visits, sick visits, ER follow-ups, hospital follow-ups, and pre-op visits. No procedures required. Requirements Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine. Internal Medicine candidates accepted with FM and pediatric experience. Experience: Recent graduates welcome; 1 year preferred. Licensure: Active Pennsylvania license preferred, but candidates needing to obtain licensure will be considered. IMLC license accepted. Certifications: ACLS and BLS required. DEA Registration: Required. Additional Information EMR System: eClinicalWorks. Privileges: Full privileges available; temporary privileges can be expedited (45-day processing). Duration: Need coverage until a permanent hire is secured (estimated 6 months).
